In Between Dreams by Thomas Ostenberg and Mila Judge -Furstova

Thomas Ostenberg is the artist at Glyndebourne this year, on the Cass Foundation shortlist for Sculptor of the London Olympic Games, has recently sold 3 monumental works to a trustee of the Museum of Modern Art, San Francisco and recieved a glowing essay from a Former Assistant Director of New York's Guggenheim.

Mila Judge Furstova is fresh from 9 solo shows in 2 years including in Embassies in Kensington, Madison Avenue, Paris, Prague, etc., where she has had guests including the President of the Czech Republic and Vaclav Havel, the Leader of the Velvet Revolution. Her Majesty the Queen recently accepted one of Mila's works into her collection, with the Palace describing it as 'Charming.'

Both artists are joined in their inspiration from the dream world.

Thomas Ostenberg says:

"Great art emotionally moves people. It contains honesty in both conception and execution that comes from deep within. Before Alta Mira, through out time, the greatest art has been used to communicate man's most urgent messages. These messages are usually not clever, cynical or selfish but come from the deepest reaches of the soul."

Mila Judge Furstova says:

"My work articulates the contents of the subconscious mind, using the mechanisms of the pre-language symbolic thinking. It reflects my deep interest in dreams, mythology, tales and fables and touches the notions of cultural identity...My work has become a tool for me to narrate my life experience in parables; a mirror reflecting my personal mythology. I am opening a gate for the viewer to enter the worlds which I create in my mind, while encouraging projection of one's own interpretations and dreams onto the ambiguous images that I invent."

In between Dreams places these two great dreamers side by side for the first time.
